ISB Receives Support from D’Décor for Tuition Waivers
Furnishings Giant to Fund Students of Flagship Post Graduate Programme
February 9, 2016: The Indian School of Business (ISB), has received funding from D’Décor Home Fabrics Pvt. Ltd, the world’s largest producer of curtain and upholstery fabrics, to offer need-based tuition waivers to students of the flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP). To be called the ‘D’Décor Tuition Waiver’, the funding will be spread over a period of five years commencing immediately and support five students every year for part waiver of their tuition fees.
An agreement to this effect was signed by Nikita Desai, Vice President, Strategy & New Business, D’décor Home Fabrics and Sanjay Singh, Director - Office of Development, ISB, in the presence of Ajay Arora, Managing Director, D’Decor Home Fabrics and Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean, ISB.
Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean, ISB said, “We are appreciative of the support from D’Décor which will allow us to support bright and deserving students who are in need. As a management education institution, our vision is to make available the most talented pool for the industry in India and abroad. This kind of industry support will go a long way in attracting and nurturing the best of minds for positive impact on industry and businesses in the years to come.”
ISB is keen to strengthen its ties and work more closely with the industry through various initiatives that will allow the faculty and students to engage with them frequently and create opportunities for industry to be a part of the learning process at ISB, he added.
