NITI Aayog, the premier think tank of the Government of India, hosted a Senior Management Workshop for their team on ISB’s Mohali campus, between March 8 and March 10, 2019.

Prominent personnel of NITI Aayog, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog – Dr Rajiv Kumar, Members Dr V K Saraswat and Dr Ramesh Chand, CEO of NITI Aayog – Shri Amitabh Kant and other senior officials and advisers of NITI participated in the workshop and experienced the offerings of ISB’s state-of-the-art campus.

Dean Rajendra Srivastava along with Deputy Dean Milind Sohoni delivered a presentation on ISB and its comprehensive offerings in research and management. Following the presentation, ISB and NITI Aayog agreed to work together on a wide range of issues of national importance. ISB’s practice-led research approach towards solving key societal challenges find complementarity in NITI Aayog's agenda. ISB’s research will support NITI Aayog's high-priority focus areas: Public Policy, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Human Capital, Digital Identity, Analytics, Women Leadership, Family Business.

The Team also participated in a fund-raising event organised by ISB’s PGP students for International Women’s Day. They interacted with the students and supported them by making purchases from the event. In their three-day stay, Team NITI Aayog also interacted with ISB’s faculty and learned more about ISB’s research.

We are gratified to have had NITI Aayog host its first annual retreat at ISB.
