NSE-NYU India Initiative Research Grant for CAF

For two consecutive years, CAF research papers have been accepted for the  NSE NYU grant.

On October 7, 2013, CAF research paper titled, "Can Mandatory Rotation Policy Lead to Distortionary Incentives? Evidence from Loan Officer Rotation", authored by Prasanna Tantri and Subhendu Bhowal made it for NSE NYU grant.The proposal that was sent to NSE - NYU Stern Initiative for the Study of Indian Capital Markets was selected for a grant among 35 other proposals. NSE NYU Stern could fund only seven proposals in the end. We are delighted that CAF paper has made it to the final list for total funding of $7,500 (per project).

The Scientific Committee for approving research proposals for NSE - NYU Stern Initiative for the Study of Indian Capital Markets comprised Viral Acharya, Joel Hasbrouck and Ravi Jagannathan.

Again on October 29, 2014, in the second consecutive year, the CAF Research paper titled, “Impact of Derivatives on price efficiency”, authored by Deepak Agrawal, K R Subramaniam, Prasanna Tantri and Ramabhadran Thirumalai has been accepted for the NSE NYU grant.
