ISB Updates
Launch of ISB's Centre for Business Markets
We are pleased to announce the launch date of ISB’s Centre for Business Markets (CBM) at our Hyderabad campus - April 27, 2019. CBM is set up in collaboration with US-based Institute for the Study of Business Markets. Dean Rajendra Srivastava will launch the programme in the presence of ISB’s resident and visiting faculty, members of ISB community and industry leaders in the Khemka auditorium, Hyderabad campus, ISB.

CBM will provide Indian corporations with access to pioneering knowledge and research in business-to-business (B2B) marketing, sales and purchasing. Evolved from the need for dialogues, insights and course offerings, CBM will provide practitioners with skills to understand, create, deliver and capture value in B2B Asian markets. This is also first-of-its-kind initiative in Asia.
With the continually evolving business practices, professional development may not be practical with a ‘one size fits all’ approach, and hence, the CBM curricula will be customised to the specific needs of the member organisations and participants. An assessment to identify gaps in the expertise of member organisations will be done, and specific attributes to fill those gaps will be added to the curricula giving you a tailor-made programme for your or your organisation’s needs.
At the launch, we will have six sessions by ISB’s faculty, where they will speak and discuss about various aspects of business markets – from Digital Transformation of Marketing and Sales to Managing Value Chain and Innovation in Supply Chains in Business Markets; from Disruption and the Need for Customer Centricity to New Age Channels in Business Markets. The launch event will also have industry leaders, Feroze Mohammed, Executive Vice President at Hitachi Consulting and Peeyush Gupta, VP - Steel (Marketing and Sales) at Tata Steel, engage in a panel discussion on ‘Contemporary Challenges in Business Markets for Companies Operating in Growth Economies’. For further launch-related details, please visit: www.isb.edu/isb-cbm
ISB is committed to creating global leaders for India and the world, and CBM reinstates that commitment by providing a learning platform to create radical value in the B2B landscape in India and other growth markets. The Centre will be involved in delivering custom learning to corporates, institutions and governments; industry outreach; and cutting-edge research.
So, if you operate in the B2B market space and are exploring your avenues, here is an opportunity for you to witness the launch and learn.
