Statement from Dean Rajendra Srivastava

 
It is an unfortunate day for us as we lose one of our own today. Y C Deveshwar, Member of ISB’s Board, passed away this morning. He was associated with the School since the beginning. Deveshwar was Chairman of ITC Ltd.
 
As a founding member of the ISB Board, Yogi supported the school in many ways including financial support from ITC. He was a member of the Land and Development Committee of the Board which selected the Gachibowli site in Hyderabad. He has been to both our campuses and most recently attended our Executive Board meeting on January 11, 2019.
 
As we mourn his death today, let’s take a moment to thank him for his support. We have lost a mentor, friend and guide. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
