ISB hosts Nadir Patel, Canadian High Commissioner

He spoke on the topic - ‘India-Canada relationship in today’s interconnected world’ and the session witnessed active participation from officials from the state governments of Haryana and Punjab, industry executives from the Tricity region, students, members of the faculty and staff of ISB.
The High Commissioner further added that the Canadians of Indian origin have been contributing to the $2 trillion economy of Canada, yet there was immense scope to boost investment further in terms of entrepreneurial ventures in various sectors. “Our start-up visa programme has specially been formulated to facilitate entrepreneurial ventures in Canada. We are positive about the way business opportunities are shaping up in India but the gap between the vision and public policy implementation has to be bridged for better integration of the two nations”.”
ISB hosts such sessions with global business leaders, diplomats and industry representatives regularly for its students. They get to learn and understand best practices from across the world from the leaders themselves. This helps enrich the overall experience of the students and adds value to their learning.
