ISB Celebrates Graduation Day at Hyderabad and Mohali Campuses

Child rights activist and Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi was the Chief guest at the Hyderabad campus. Addressing the management graduates, the Nobel Laureate asked them to inculcate values, spirit and capacity for social return in whatever they do next and that ISB is a right institution to pick up such a focus for future business leaders. The gathering at Hyderabad campus included 551 students of the Class of 2015 of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and 62 students of the Class of 2014 of PGP in Management for Senior Executives (PGPMAX).
On April 12, 2015, ISB’s Mohali campus celebrated the 3rd Graduation Day since it was set up, where the School hosted Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of State (independent charge) for Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, the Minister urged the graduating students to do something that will have a lasting impact. He advised them to go back to the society and give some part of their life to it. The Minister also requested the School to consider setting up an innovation lab to carry out work related to energy conservation, sustainability and even public governance. 205 students of the PGP Class of 2015 and 41 students of the Founding Class of MFAB graduated .
Adi Godrej, Chairman, ISB Board and Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB also addressed the students at both the campuses. Also present on the occasion were members of the ISB Board, faculty, business leaders, families of the students, alumni and staff.
With the passing out of these graduates, the ISB brand is now represented by a close to 7000 strong alumni network making its presence felt in 100+ cities across the world.
