And we did it again! The Net Impact Club at ISB has retained its GOLD Status this year also based on the achievements of Co2016. This is the second year in a row that this prestigious status has been bagged by the ISB chapter. Net Impact is a nonprofit membership organisation for students and professionals interested in using business skills in support of various social and environmental causes. The gold status is judged on various parameters & activities. Net Impact Student Leadership Team, of the PGP Co2016 conducted several impact making activities around the year such as raising funds for NGOs, conducting a blood donation camps, Bandhan – designed to help children from underprivileged backgrounds and those with special needs, Joyathon - a community participation event to promote giving, Diffusion-a fast track management workshop for professionals from the not for profit sector, Chalo Padhe –a weekend school for betterment of society and a clothes donation drive to name a few across both the campuses.
The ISB chapter (first in Asia) began in 2003 and over the years, the Club has used its business skills, which have been developed with lots of corporate exposure, to solve social problems. The aim of the club is to foster a sense of lasting social responsibility and to inspire student interest in applying business skills towards positive social impact. This year the new club members of Net impact are going to take the previous year’s activities, hard work, and support from school as the example and hope to take their responsibility towards society through this platform to a new level.
