ISB's MPMO attracts manufacturing professionals from Corporates and MSME's

The second batch of the Management Programme in Manufacturing and Operations (MPMO) commenced its academic year with the first residency at ISB’s Mohali campus. The class comprises senior and mid level professionals from various sectors such as automotive, food, engineering, management consultancy, aviation & export among others. The average age of the class is 34 years and the work experience ranges from 2 to 20 years. MPMO has attracted participation of senior executives from Hero Motor Corp, Google India, Amazon, Accenture, Airbus group, Akul industries, P.V.Bio-Chem India Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Infrastructure Development to name a few.
 
The MPMO Programme, designed jointly by the Munjal Institute for Global Manufacturing and the Centre for Executive Education at the ISB, has been created to meet the increasing need for techno-business managers for the manufacturing sector. The course consists of general management concepts along with in-depth understanding of core subjects in manufacturing, operations excellence and supply chain management. It is offered in a blended format of classroom and online learning, allowing professionals to take the course even as they continue with their jobs.
