ISB was graced with the presence of His Excellency Jan Luykx, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium, Antoine Delacourt, Economic Affairs Counsellor, Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium and Alexis Bossuyt, Commercial Counsellor, Flanders Investment and Trade. The dignitaries were welcomed and received by Kumara Guru, Director of External Relations and HR, and Eklavya Sharma, President, Graduate Student Board of ISB. Pradeep Singh, CEO of the Mohali campus and Deputy Dean, ISB met with the Belgian delegates and exchanged information regarding ISB and the values that the School stands for.

Fifteen students from diverse backgrounds had assembled to meet the Belgian Ambassador and other delegates. This turned out to be an engaging session with some of the students sharing their working experiences in Belgium and other parts of Western Europe. The students also shared their aspirations of joining the public sector upon completion of their education at ISB and discussed the current political and corporate scenario in India. The discussion further culminated into sharing interesting ideas on possible India-Belgium partnerships and the possible ways that these countries could help each other out with.

Luykx also enumerated his enthusiasm for Belgian companies’ engagement in India and his hopes for a strong relationship between the two countries.
