Advaita 2019 soars higher than ever
With more than 12000 registrations from 100+ colleges across the world, Advaita’19 flared high with 18 events across Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. More than 300 finalists from top B Schools made it to the finals, and competed for prizes of INR 1 Million and over a dozen PPIs (pre-placement interviews) from top corporates including Blackbuck, Udaan, and Swiggy.
Advaita is ISB’s premier International Management festival hosting motley of events that combine the effervescence of innovative ideas with the brilliance of management perspective. Through a series of B-plan competitions, case challenges, simulations and quizzes, Advaita presents to B-School students across campuses from India and abroad a platform to demonstrate their business acumen and the grit to see innovative ideas through.
17 professional clubs and a team of 20 worked for 3 months to pull this two day event and came up with a variety of case competitions such us Xcellerate (Product Manager), Biz2Biz (B2B Marketing), Uno Y Cero (Data Analytics), OpsStrat (Operations Strategy), and Sphinx (Geo Political Quiz) among others to challenge the students. The winning teams included students from IIM Ahmedabad, NUS Singapore, NMIMS, IIM Kashipur, and ISB among others.
The competitions were judged by eminent industry leaders including Shashank Chakelam, Product Director at Blackbuck, Venkat Narayan Ravuri from RLP Securities Pvt Ltd, Rekha Narendra from Real Page, and many others. Faculty judges included Prof Madhu Vishwanathan (Digital Media), Professor DVR Seshadri (B2B Marketing), Professor Ramana Sonti (Finance) among few names. Leaders from Udaan and Blackbuck conducted sessions post event to interact with students and guide them through. There was a performance put up by music club for all the teams at Mohali.
The event closed with a networking dinner with participants and corporates interaction.
